Chantal, our founder, was working seven days a week as an essential worker during the pandemic. With the world on lockdown and social connection at a minimum, her days were heavy and her spirit, like so many others, stretched thin. Evenings became her only moment to breathe. Decontaminating after a long day wasn’t just about safety; it became a ritual to cleanse the weight of the day.
Candles were lit. Jazz and classical music floated through the air. The bathroom turned into a sanctuary. But something was missing. The products she reached for were beautifully scented, but they didn’t deliver the nourishment her skin craved. The experience felt incomplete. She longed for formulas that cared for the skin and the soul— wrapped in packaging that felt just as intentional.
She didn’t find it.
So she created it.
What started as a small offering under the name Eyeland Cosmetics has blossomed into Vida de Luxe; a Jamaican luxury brand built on the belief that self-love should be both felt and seen.
